About Us
The Black Girl Dinner Club is an intentional space for Black women to connect over food. During our gatherings, we foster engagement through games, activities, and icebreakers. Our goal is for you to enjoy a delicious food while forming meaningful connections with fellow guests.

At the Black Girl Dinner Club, all Black women are welcome at our table! While many guests are zennials or millennials (ages 25-40), we embrace all ages. We value respect and confidentiality—what happens at our table stays at our table. We want you to enjoy the experience fully! Events are typically held at restaurants or food halls, so tipping is appreciated. And most importantly, we want you to have fun!
Meet the Creator
Annette, a thirty-something originally from Northeast Ohio, has spent the past eight years in Columbus before returning to her roots. In August 2023, she launched the Black Girl Dinner Club to connect with like-minded Black women after facing challenges making new friends outside of work and college. Believing that food is the perfect catalyst for connection, Annette created a space where meaningful relationships can flourish over shared meals. A foodie, she delights in exploring new restaurants and attending food festivals. Through the Black Girl Dinner Club, Annette combines her love for food with her mission to build a welcoming and supportive community.
